Founder & Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Marie-Hélène founded Shan in 1995, and is first and foremost an entrepreneur. After launching a collection of financial books for the Masson group, she created MTF (Marchés Techniques et Financiers), which became the leading magazine in the Paris financial community in 1991.
Marie-Hélène then joined Desfossé International as Director of Development and participated in the editorial refocusing of AGEFI.
During her career, Marie-Hélène has supported numerous structuring financial transactions alongside senior executives in France and abroad.

Laetitia Hottinguer

CEO & Partner

Chair of the Management Board since 2019, Laetitia Hottinguer supervises all the agency's activities, manages the international offering, and co-directs the corporate department as well as clients in the finance and real estate sectors.
Laetitia joined Shan in 2006 as a Senior Consultant and then Associate Director. Specialising in communications in the financial sector, Laetitia was Communications Manager at Banque Hottinguer and then at Credit Suisse France.

François-Xavier Dupont

François-Xavier is Managing Director in charge of Administration and Finance.
After joining Shan as a consultant in 2002, François-Xavier was subsequently appointed Director of Consulting, in charge of the financial communication division, then Deputy General Manager.
François-Xavier was previously a financial analyst. He began his career as an analyst at Allianz (AGF) in 1983, then continuing in the ABN Amro (JFD-JLK) and Suez (CGM, CPR) groups, and ending at Détroyat Associés, where he was a member of the Management Committee.

Amaury Bessard

Managing Partner

Amaury Bessard is Managing Director in charge of Strategy and Development. He also supervises financial and issue communications activities, as well as clients in the agri-food sector. After a first experience as a consultant in a crisis communication agency, he spent 7 years at Ferrero France as Public Affairs Manager and then CSR Director, and 3 years as the Communications Director of the French National Association of Food Industries (ANIA). Amaury is also the founder of the think tank observatory, and Vice President of SYRPA.

Anne Vernois

Managing Partner

Anne co-directs the Corporate Department and advises executives.
Before joining Shan, Anne spent more than 20 years in market infrastructures, first at Euroclear and then at Euronext where, as Director of Communications, she supported the construction of the pan-European stock market operator (IPOs, mergers and acquisitions).

Richard Saint-Etienne

Managing Partner

Richard is in charge of Brand Strategies, Digital Strategies and Brand Content. With more than 14 years of experience, Richard is specialised in corporate communications and the creation of on/off communications solutions. He joined Shan in 2014.
RIchard began his career by co-founding a digital startup before joining the world of communications at Digitas Lbi and then Publicis Consultants. Richard then joined Carré Noir as the Digital Director.
